What fees will I be charged to use Sam?

There are various fees associated with using our platform based on your needs and organisation size:

    The Payment Service Provider processing fee issued by Stripe to ensure that your donations are collected securely and accurately, & a processing fee issued by us (Sam).
  2. 2.

    A monthly subscription fee, based on the scale of your operations and specific needs.
  3. 3.

    Customisable add-on options, allowing you to select and pay for only the functionalities you require.

1. Processing Fees

There will be variable rates depending on your qualifications and needs as an organisation. These rates will also change on a transaction basis, always giving you the lowest possible rate. Read more about these below.

You will be charged at the lowest rate at which your organisation is eligible to process transactions. You can find Stripe’s fees outlined here.

Sam Platform Fee³

1.5 / 2 / 3 % + A$0.05

Our platform rate varies based on your subscription tier (see below). This fee enables us to provide and maintain a high quailty Australian-based service with all the features you know and love.

Free

Small charities or individual campaigners just beginning their fundraising journey. You will have access to all of our basic defining features allowing you to up your fundraising game and increase the number of contributions for your cause. Manage the members of your organisation, and generate reports seamlessly through the Sam Hub.

Foundation

For large organisations and foundations looking to reduce their processing fee further. This tier offers more in depth support, access to all add-ons, and suits organisations that may be running concurrent fundraisers or are receiving a very large number of donations.
