About us

We call ourselves Samaritan, or ‘Sam‘ for short. We‘re trying to make it more accessible to be a good samaritan in a cashless world.

Our story

The concept of Sam has been brewing for some time, inspired by the fact that many charities continue to rely on cash collections or other less efficient methods for donations. We recognised the potential for a more straight-forward approach, but didn't have access to the technology required to make this possible. We wanted to make it as easy as possible for anyone to collect money for charity, anywhere, at anytime - but how?

In 2023, a breakthrough came with Apple's introduction of Tap-to-Pay on iPhone, opening the door for us to turn our vision into reality. This was the catalyst we needed, and it marked the beginning of Sam's journey.

Registering the company in the latter half of 2023, we have dedicated ourselves to crafting a platform specifically for charitable organisations for all forms of fundraising in a digital age. Our initial collaborations with several charities have yielded overwhelmingly positive feedback, affirming our belief in Sam's potential.

We are on the cusp of publicly releasing our mobile app, with our online platform, the Sam Hub, set to follow closely. Our commitment to supporting charities remains a priority as we are constantly thinking of new ways to improve our platform and add features that can bring even more value than we already provide.

We believe in fostering positive change by enabling charities and fundraisers to accomplish their goals. Our mission is to better charitable approaches with convenient and innovative technology.
